I’ve been seeing this tag float around and recently I was inspired by Evelyn Reads to do it for myself. You can check out her post here.
The best book you’ve read so far in 2019

I’m still totally on Daisy Jones & The Sis and still totally think that it is my favorite so far of 2019
Favorite sequel of 2019

Legendary by Stephanie Garber
I haven’t read many sequels, but I really enjoyed this one.
A new release that you haven’t read yet, but really want to.

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
This is a beast of a book, but I totally want to try and get to it this year.
Most anticipated release of the second half of the year.
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, I bet this is on a lot of people’s list, I just love Leigh and the premise just calls me, I can’t wait for it.
Your biggest disappointment
It’s a toss up between Jane Steele and Hunting Prince Dracula, I just wasn’t in love with this one. I finished it, but it didn’t leave me wanting to jump into to the next one.
Your biggest surprise
Daisy Jones & The Six
I truly wasn’t expecting to love this one as much as I do.
Favorite new to you or debut

The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neil
A copy was included in an Owlcrate and it was the first time I read anything from Katie O’Neil. I adore this graphic novel and think everyone should read it. The art is beautiful and the story is so cute
A book that made you cry
I haven’t had a book make me cry this year so far, but there are plenty that have made me stop in my tracks and have all the feels.
A book that made you happy
There were two books that really made my little heart just warm and they are The Savior by JR Ward and Heartstopper by Alice Oseman.
Favorite book to movie adaptation

The only book to movie adaption I’ve read this year is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and after reading it I did watch the movie. I still love the movies, but reading the books is a totally different experience. There are just so many different little details.
Favorite blog post that you’ve posted
I think my favorite post is my review of Daisy Jones & The Six, that’s because I just think of how I felt while reading it and it just makes me happy.
The Most beautiful book you’ve bought / received
The Binding by Bridget Collins. haven’t read it just yet, but it does look good on my shelves and underneath the dust jacket it is just beautiful.
What are some books you need to read before the end of the year

In the past month or so I’ve been slacking in my yearly TBR so I need to get back on track and get through those. These are the ones I have left:
Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
The City of Brass by S.A Chakraborty
Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson
The Philosopher’s Flight by Tom Miller
The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang
Red Rising by Pierce Brown
I loved reading your answers! I definitely can’t wait for ninth house! You really should read the way of kings, I recently read part one and absolutely loved it!
