Every month I look forward to getting my Owlcrate. It still amazes me that I have been subscribed to them since the beginning and seeing the growth they have had over the years has been amazing. I have noticed over the past few boxes more and more items have been exclusive items and this box is just full of them. So let’s get into it.

In each box there has been an exclusive pin, in the past, they have been buttons. In the start of the new year, they announced that they were going to start including enamel pins. January’s pin was beautiful and February’s pin is just as amazing. Ink and Wonder Designs created the pin for February and I am obsessed with it. I have a lot of Ink and Wonder’s bookmarks and love a lot of what she creates, I’m excited to have this pin to add to my collection.

There’s this super cute keychain inspired by Spirited Away designed Four Seasons Fox. I’ve never seen Spirited Away, but I’m into this keychain. This beautiful gem soap from Leeloo Soaps was included. If you received the Wicked King Box from Owlcrate then you’ll recognize it, since a blue gem soap was included. They also included a beautiful travel umbrella, the pattern was illustrated by Anne Lambert.

This purple beanie was designed by the team and Michelle Gray. I love that it says Accio Books and that it is purple. The last HP inspired beanie from Owlcrate is a staple in my winter attire. This beanie is a welcomed addition and I’ve already worn it a ton.

We also got this beautiful graphic novel, The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’Neil. I’ve already read it and it is just too cute, I now need everything by Katie O’Neil. It really is the cutest and highly recommend.

Now for the book, Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto. COF was included in my list of February releases that I was excited for. Needless to say, this box instantly gained some points when I was it was included. This edition has an exclusive Owlcrate cover, they change the title treatment from silver to gold, they also darkened up the overall feel. Plus the beautiful sprayed edges. I absolutely love this trend of sprayed edges.
SYNOPSIS:
I had a sister, once…
In a world ruled by fierce warrior queens, a grand empire was built upon the backs of Phoenix Riders—legendary heroes who soared through the sky on wings of fire—until a war between two sisters ripped it all apart.
I promised her the throne would not come between us.
Sixteen years later, Veronyka is a war orphan who dreams of becoming a Phoenix Rider from the stories of old. After a shocking betrayal from her controlling sister, Veronyka strikes out alone to find the Riders—even if that means disguising herself as a boy to join their ranks.
But it is a fact of life that one must kill or be killed. Rule or be ruled.
Just as Veronyka finally feels like she belongs, her sister turns up and reveals a tangled web of lies between them that will change everything. And meanwhile, the new empire has learned of the Riders’ return and intends to destroy them once and for all.
Sometimes the title of queen is given. Sometimes it must be taken.
